Our garden offers relaxing moments for breakfast, lunch with breathtaking view or aperitif at sunset, but the best is to dinner here after a day at the beach. The Well
Presence of water at Portonovo is always a mystery still unresolved. Two little lakes mix sea salt water with fresh water filtered by Monte Conero. An ancient well built by Camaldoli monks is the centre of gravity of our garden, here fresh water flows and creates the incredible ecosystem of “ Lago Calcagno” and “ Lago Profondo”. A vocal legend tells of migratory birds from Africa and of a well, that according to someone, was baptismal font that still gives serenity, wellness and good fortune to anyone who passes from here.
